As a proud native of the Toledo area, my devotion as a chef is to the local-food movement. My passion has always been in revolutionizing the culinary world of Northwest Ohio and surrounding areas—connecting local farmers with consumers and educating them on building seasonally-changing menus and fully utilizing locally-grown and sourced produce, meats and dairy.
My commitment has always been to supporting farmers directly and local food production. I believe that the most sustainable crop in our area is knowledge. Knowing where our food comes from, what goes into our food, and how to use every part of the animal and the vegetable. The best way to do that is to not only support, but truly get to know the farmers and every step of the process. Nose-to-tail meat butchery and whole vegetable utilization practices are at the core of my entire culinary philosophy.
It is with that philosophy and commitment that I started Cork and Knife Provisions with my partner Katie. The passion I have for local and sustainable food practices is shown in all the food I create and deliver. I am thrilled to be living and working within such a talented and driven community of farmers and craftspeople.
I have over 17 years' experience in event design, planning and coordination. In addition to being an extraordinary Event & Banquet Manager, I am a Certified Specialist of Wine candidate. Originally from Sonoma, CA, I grew up ignorantly thinking local bakeries, cheese shops and abundant wine racks were the norm. I was totally spoiled. However, it was in that amazing landscape of Wine Country culture that my passion for events started. Working at a winery throughout college and executing numerous memorable and educational tasting experiences was just the beginning.
From small corporate boardroom meetings to large complex wedding celebrations, I am here to proactively make your event a true success AND within budget. Conceptualizing, planning, and executing every event with a level of modern creativity and out of the box thinking. Meeting Joseph, we quickly realized that by combining our experience and knowledge of the culinary and events world, we would be a true dream team. We are here to be your dream team. Cork and Knife Provisions provides full-service catering and event coordinating.

Originally from NW Ohio, I have been a manager in the local hospitality industry for over 10 years. It has given me so much hands-on experience and allowed me to really grow and evolve as a coordinator and team leader. Being a part of the Cork & Knife mission has really allowed me to marry my love of coordination and my passion for food. Just as our food is truly snout to tail–helping turn a client’s crazy dream idea into a tangible, memorable experience through our food, setup and event execution is what really sets Cork & Knife apart. By utilizing all the amazing farms and food vendors of our area, we are building a bigger community through our dinners and experiences–seeing these connections translated by what we do as a business is so meaningful and I am honored to help make it all happen.

To be a part of this team, no one is "one thing" --they jump in when and where we need and have general skills that are unmatched.
